Irish Rail and how it treats disabled people

So there I was on the Dublin-Dundalk train last night, when a guy in a wheelchair got on a Dublin Connolly. Now given that an Irish Rail porter helped this guy on to the train, you would think that they would have phoned ahead to Drogheda to let tem know to have the ramp ready when the train arrived. Nope!

In fact the poor guy had to ask me and my fiance for help. When the train arrived in Drogheda I had to hold the doors open whislt my fianc searched for a staff member to set up the ramp.

All in all, it was a disgraceful show from Irish Rail and probably humiliating for the poor guy in the wheelchair.

Come on Irish Rail, sort it out!
